Replacing worn or cracked concrete can help increase the strength and lifetime of the cement around it. Concrete requires a stable base to help prevent cracks due to soil compaction or issues of melting and refreezing water in the winter. R.E.P. utilizes a sturdy gravel base in all of our concrete projects. The gravel base helps prevent shifting of the soil beneath that tends to lead to cracks and sinking concrete. The gravel also helps drain the water away from the area to prevent pooling and erosion of the concrete's foundation.
